About Pulsestart

Its origins stem from the need to provide a solution to the ever-growing demand for quality training services to be tailored and adapted to consider the needs of corporate clients, health professionals, community service providers, educational institutions and individually interested parties where Basic Life support, Fire Evacuation, Hospitality and Fitness skills is a requirement.

With a combined total in excess of 200 years worth of serving the Australian medical industry and general public in this arena, the Directors, Master Trainers, support staff and entire Pulsestart organisation holds a wealth of experience across a broad range of competencies including: the development of training materials to fulfil the AQTF guidelines; training; assessment; management and professional development.

Our primary focus is to supply a vehicle for the quality and tailored delivery of nationally recognized training services under the National Health Training package HLT07.

Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

This course teaches the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. This course is developed for people who may require CPR training as recommended by the Australian Resuscitation Council.

Provide First Aid (includes CPR)

Provide First Aid also known as Senior First Aid. As the minimum level for workplace First Aid, this course will provide with the skills and knowledge to help you Provide First Aid, life support and management of casualties until the arrival of medical or other assistance. This unit is applicable to all people who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of environments including community and workplace settings.

Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting

The unit applies to educators and support staff working within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies. This unit of competency will contribute towards approved first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis training under the Education and Care Services National Law, and the Education and Care Services National Regulation (2011).

Provide advanced resuscitation

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to use specialised equipment in the provision of resuscitation in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. Provide Advanced Resuscitation applies to a range of industries where first aiders need to be trained in the use of defibrillators and medical oxygen.
