Nick

Nick is a professional lifeguard with over 10 year experience providing emergency care to the public on Gold Coast beaches. Nick has been training first aid and resuscitation awards for 7 years and also specialises in training lifeguard qualifications. He is passionate about getting more people qualified and ready to work in the ocean through emergency care and ocean awareness training.

Sue

Sue is a social worker with over 30 years’ experience in human services. Sue delivers a range of training programs including Mental Health First Aid, trauma informed practice, culturally inclusive practice, gender inclusive practice, working legally and ethically and self-care. Sue can develop and tailor a program to your workplace and workforce profile. Sue is able to ensure training programs are programs connect to the day to day experiences of a range of foster carers, care givers, students, volunteers and staff of community services organisations and government agencies. Sue has extensive experience in counselling, child protection and out of home care. Sue has worked in a variety of roles in her career including senior management positions. Sue also currently works in vocational and tertiary education.
